CANADA: PLURAL, ACCESSIBLE AND EFFECTIVE
Surrogacy is allowed in all its territory, except in the province of Quebec, as long as the surrogate mother offers herself altruistically , that is, she is not allowed to get a profit by offering her service. UNITED STATES: AMERICAN IDENTITY
The legal issues of surrogacy are under the jurisdiction of each state and the legal situation varies greatly from one state to another. The states that are permissive with surrogacy and where contracts are considered legal are: California, Illinois, Arkansas, Maryland and Utah, among others. For legal purposes, what matters is where the contracts are drawn up and signed, where the pregnant woman resides and where the birth takes place. All family models can be accessed, without the need for genetic load with the embryo to be implanted.
UKRAINE: AFFORDABLE AND EFFECTIVE
This destination has the most complete and safe surrogate pregnancy law in the world. Pregnant women are prohibited from claiming maternity and have no right or obligation over the baby. It is considered that the baby that is conceived in your body belongs to the parents of intention from the blastocyst stage. To apply to this destination the requirements are: To be a married heterosexual couple; At a minimum, the father must provide his genetic material; The mother of intention must have a medical reason that makes it impossible for her to become pregnant or carry the pregnancy to term.
CZECH REPUBLIC: REPRODUCTION ASSISTED WITH DONORS
The country neither legalizes, nor regulates, nor prohibits couples to apply and perform surrogacy treatments. Based on these principles, Global Surrogacy Ltd. has developed, with the collaboration of local clinics and jurists, a secure Third Party Assisted Reproduction protocol in the Czech Republic combined with a surrogacy contract with Ukrainian carrier, in order to offer another viable and safe alternative within the framework of “Cross Border Surrogacy”. CYPRUS: GENDER SELECTION
The most economical European destination to apply to assisted reproduction therapies, where gamete donation and sex selection are fully regulated , which makes this country an ideal destination for couples who prefer a specific sex for their first child. It is a treatment not available in all countries or regulated in a way that is not always adapted to the needs of patients. The economic price and legislation on assisted reproduction make Cyprus an ideal destination for all family models.
SPAIN: START TREATMENT AT YOUR LOCAL CLINIC
Surrogacy in Spain is not legally permitted but fortunately we have alternatives that allow intended parents to fulfill their dream of forming a family.
Currently we offer the possibility to start your treatment at your local clinic, without having the need to travel abroad. We have an International Embryo Transfer service that takes care of transporting your genetic material to your destination so that you can continue your assisted reproduction treatment with donors abroad.
GEORGIA: LOW BUDGET, HIGH QUALITY
In Georgia there is no specific separate law/statute regulating only assisted reproductive technologies (the “ART”) or either of its method including surrogacy. The basic regulations concerning surrogacy and ART in general are outlined in the Article 141, 143 and 144 of the Law of Georgia on Healthcare.
Only heterosexual couples are allowed to apply, but the law does not require genetic connection with at least one of the parents neither request that the couple be legally married. So single couples can also apply.
