Surrogacy
In Cyprus there is no regulation on surrogacy, therefore, clinics accept transferring embryos from intended parents to a surrogate, without breaking any law.
The agreement or surrogacy contract between the surrogate and the future parents lacks all validity, being unenforceable before a Court.
The maternity of the child born by surrogacy is granted directly to the surrogate for having given birth to the baby. In the event of being married, the corresponding paternity to the surrogate’s husband is registered. The genetics of the baby, nor the willful intent of its intended parents is taken into account.
Only after 3 months from the birth of the child, the surrogate may express her willingness to renounce maternity and give the child up for adoption to the intended parents. And there, after a demand for consent, the parents will become legal parents of the baby.
If the surrogate decides to keep the baby and not renounce her legal maternity, she can do so freely. And the intended parents cannot become legal parents of the baby.
It is for this reason that Surrogacy 365 offers you to carry out the entire Reproductive Medicine procedure in Cyprus with a Ukrainian citizen, which by law guarantees compliance with it and immediate delivery of the baby.
The island of Cyprus is divided into two states. The north (Turkish side) is an occupied territory that depends on the administration of Turkey and the south (Greek side) is an independent republic that belongs to the European Union. Surrogacy 365 offers you clinics in both territories, since the costs and what they are legally capable of offering differ according to the established regulations. The clinics are excellent and with an exceptional level of care.
Success rates are consistently high and are between 70% and 80% with donor gamete cycles. Their donor base is made up mainly of young university students and they are informed of all personal and medical history with donor photographs.
By law on both sides, egg donors are anonymous and details of appearance, ethnicity and area of study are given, along with a brief message from your donor. The legislation in Cyprus allows future parents to choose the characteristics of the donor but without revealing the identity of the same.
The donor’s medical information will be confidential and only the future child will be able to access it under favorable medical report.
Each of the clinics will accept donors from the chosen agency (with photos and family backgrounds available) and on both sides they are ISO certified clinics with the latest technology and modern facilities.
It is also possible to freeze your embryos here and send them abroad or to your own IVF clinic for transfer on the surrogate of your choice.
Intended parents who already have a surrogate provided by Surrogacy 365, benefit from the lowest costs and exceptional success rates offered by Cypriot clinics.
Assisted reproduction in Cyprus is regulated by law 69 (I)/2015. Among other relevant aspects, this regulation refers to the way of acting in relation to allocated recipients.
As for the recipient of the donor gametes, she may not exceed the age established as the end of natural reproductive capacity, set at 50 years of age.
